Electric Arc Marks

Arcing occurs at the central and peripheral contacts. These faults warrant the replacement of the affected ignition components.

Explanation

Electromagnetic disturbances can propagate along a cable, but their exact role must be demonstrated through measurements. After replacing the ignition components, clear any fault codes if the procedure calls for it, and verify that the warning lights do not reappear.
